This is a short treatment that only aims to prepare the patient to have new crowns placed on her upper incisors.
The fracture of the upper incisors of this patient (to which is added the great wear due to the nocturnal muscle tightening that she performs) could not be solved with new restorations because the teeth were positioned edge to edge and that was a limitating factor to make them longer.
A brief upper-arch-only orthodontic treatment moved forward the upper incisors with two goals: to place their edges in front of the lower ones and to create a little space between them.
In this way, crowns could be placed after orthodontics, making them longer and wider than at the beginning.
The result is obvious to the eye!
